Studio Gallery Event

October 28:   5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
October 29: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Please come and join Judith’s many other admirers at this celebration of Judith’s legacy.

There are still numerous pots in the inventory, and I am continuing to add new pieces to the gallery from the large collection that Judith held back over the years.

There will be three additional artists, all special to me and Judith, that have graciously agreed to be part of this special event.

Adrina Richard – Pottery – Atlanta, GA

Hayley Davison – Wood Working – Asheville, NC

Keri Zink – Metalsmith Jewelry – Brevard, NC

In addition, there will be ceramic works made by the amazing Japanese potter, Shozo Michikawa, who visited the studio numerous times, putting on workshops and helping to build one of the woodfired kilns. Judith worked with Shozo in Japan several times and he was a significant influence on her pottery career.

Live music provided by Jennifer Rhea Linville and Owen Grooms playing heartwarming original and traditional songs on guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle. Jenn grew up in Transylvania County, NC and has played music there throughout her life’s journey with her family and friends, including the bands Chrysalis and The Woven. Owen plays with Pretty Little Goat and other regional bands, and teaches traditional music through the Transylvania JAM Program. Together, they offer sweet harmonies that bring ease to your soul and a smile to your face.
